Here's what to expect when you sign up.
The site dashboard gives you the latest information on site updates, bug fixes, and site demographics. At a glance you can see your profile status (default status is hidden), profile completion, and a daily Bible verse. This page contains a handful of charts that display the distribution of user genders, ages, synods, and states, as well as site activity.
Users are required to provide some information before they access other parts of the site. This helps the site to work properly, but it also makes things more "fair." If you want to see other's information, you have to be willing to share your information. Required information includes: profile picture, birthday, zip code, state/province*, synod, single status (unmarried, divorced, widowed), and whether or not you currently have children.
Once your profile has the required information you'll be able to search or browse other profiles. Users have the option to browse profiles using their desired preferences, browse all profiles, or do custom searches.
One goal of this site is to allow people to interact one-on-one through email-like messaging. As you browse profiles you'll have the option to message other users. This messaging all takes place on the site, so you don't have to share any contact information.
Users can hide their profile, if they no longer wish to show up in the list or want to take a break from the site. Search tables are easily and quickly sortable. Links to a Discord chat and relevant Facebook Groups are also easily accessed. Profile information can be easily updated at any time. This site is completely free.
